Album at Air Studios, London with Producer Colin Thurston, John came up with
the title of RIO
and is described as a celebration of America. Nick and Andy
continue finishing mixing the album before
they jump on a plane to catch up
with the others who have already departed for a more exotic location.
On the way to Australia
the band stop off at Sri Lanka where they are met by Russell Mulcahy, Eric Fellner
and Simon Milne and shoot videos for Hungry like the wolf, Save a prayer and
footage used in
Lonley in your nightmare, Roger gets carried away on an Elephant,
Nick discovers a tarantula
in his room and traps it with a bucket and John is
urinated on by an Elephant.
